1 Offshore has now completed several upgrades for hybrid solution for Offshore vessels, both PSV and OCV. The upgrade consists of the installation of battery rated to Battery(power) and can contribute as Spinning Reserve and Peak Shaving in DP operations. We have produced Safety Assessment reports for Battery(power) notation and updated vessels DP FMEA according to class requirements and believe we have a good understanding of how this can be implemented in operational offshore vessels.
